Barclays required a new method of informing their Premier clients about events, branch locations, and specific services. Barclays’ marketing and branding efforts positioned the bank as an industry-leading organization that employed the latest in emerging technologies to provide superior service to their clients. As such, any new customer service experience was required to meet this standard.
In order to fulfill this requirement, Barclays engaged Infusion to develop a unique customer service application for Microsoft Surface to be placed in the Premier Lounge of Barclays’ flagship Piccadilly Branch in London.
Combining Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) technology with Microsoft Surface, the Infusion solution featured a video showcase of events, the ability to send targeted information via text message, and interaction with wireless devices.
