This past weekend, 28 top Infusionites from offices around the world took part in Infusion’s “Sleepless in Toronto” event. Divided into four expert teams, attendees were given 24 hours to implement one of 4 projects using Microsoft Pivot, Silverlight, and WCF. The resulting applications included: an Infusion company directory, an agent and listing management portal for a major real estate broker, an Infusion sales and CRM portal, and a store and product management application for an international retail chain.
At the end of the event, teams presented their projects to a panel of judges including Infusion President Alim Somani, COO John Michell, and VP of Global Delivery Carl Thompson. After a sleepless night, numerous training sessions, and plenty of collaboration, a victor was declared, and the winning team was awarded an executive dinner at one of Toronto’s finest steakhouses, Morton’s.
With the first Toronto Sleepless event successfully under our belt, planning is already underway for more Infusion Sleepless events at our other offices including London, Dubai, Houston, and New York! Congratulations to all the winners and participants!
