Infusion to Attend Toronto Code Camp

Infusion consultant Derek Chan will be speaking about Bing Maps at the annual Code Camp event. He is a Windows Live Platform MVP and holds a MCTS in Bing Maps. Infusion Practice Manager Nicholas Landry will be speaking about Windows Phone 7 capabilities.

The Fifth Annual Toronto Code Camp, a .NET community sponsored event, will be held on May 1st, offering 40 sessions. The venue is located at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Adding Location Intelligence to your Windows Phone 7 Apps with Bing Maps

Using Bing Maps for Silverlight and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 for Windows Phones, you will learn how to locate the device in the world using the phone GPS and other Location Intelligence Services, display maps and manipulate them with touch gestures, geocode addresses into lat/long pairs, perform proximity searches, display the results on a map and more.

Building Windows Phone 7 Series Games with XNA Game Studio 4.0

The session covers designing games for mobile phones, adapting desktop & console XNA code for Windows Phone 7, tapping into the phone hardware, discussing media assets and the Content Processing Pipeline.

Overview of Bing Maps and Search

The Bing suite provides a variety of services for Developers to generate interactive maps and integrate searching capabilities into their applications. This session will be diving into the following APIs: Bing Maps AJAX, Bing Maps Silverlight and Extended Modes, Bing Maps Web Services, Bing Maps 3D, and Bing Search API.
